Hannah Metz, CEO & Founder of Anomalie Beauty Agency, recently turned 30 and is here to spill all of her beauty secrets on the KEY to creating an effective skincare regimen in your 30s!
The evolution of Hannah’s skin in her 20’s vs in her 30’s
While it’s crucial to take care of your skin at any age, it becomes especially important once you hit your 30s! This is because your skin starts to undergo significant changes during this decade, such as a decrease in collagen production and a slower cell turnover rate. As a result, you may notice fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots starting to appear.
However, with a proper skincare routine, you can combat these signs of aging and maintain a healthy, glowing complexion. Keep scrolling for Hannah’s top products, treatments, Medspas, and lifestyle tips bringing you the ultimate skincare in your 30s guide!
Ps: affordable prices for the win!
Cerava Hydrating Facial Cleanser – I use this daily since my skin is dry and it adds a ton of moisture while cleansing the skin.
Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser – I use this a few times a week, or more frequently if I have a breakout. It has Salicylic Acid so it helps with controlling acne.
Cerave Moisturizing Cream – My absolutely favorite moisturizer! It’s unscented and very gentle on the skin but it feels like a luxurious expensive night cream! It’s amazing for dry skin on the face and body and it comes in a huge container.
Cerave Vitamin C Serum – I use this during the day to help brighten the skin.
Cerave Retinol Serum – I use this at night 3-4 times a week to help with anti aging and blemishes.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum – I use this day and night and it helps with keeping my dry skin hydrated.
Laneige Sleep Mask – I use this constantly as my lips can tend to get dry when the seasons change and it’s amazing! My husband uses it too!
Sephora Melting Cleansing Balm – This is amazing for taking off makeup in a much more gentle, skin friendly way than makeup wipes. If you use this first, it will take off even the must stubborn makeup, and then you cleanse one more time with your normal cleanser to remove the balm & residue.
Supergoop Sunscreen – I am religious with my sunscreen use! I wear this every day even without makeup.
Botox / Dysport – Botox and Dysport are both brands of botulinum toxin type A, a neurotoxin that temporarily relaxes muscles by blocking nerve impulses. When injected, Botox and Dysport temporarily paralyze the muscle which smooths out fine lines and wrinkles in the skin. I have been getting preventative botox since I was 23 and it has really helped preserve my skin. I get it once a year usually.
PRP Injections – PRP injections are commonly used in facial rejuvenation treatments to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The PRP is injected into the skin, where it helps to stimulate collagen production, which can improve skin texture and tone. I have done PRP injections into my under eyes as a more “natural” alternative to filler. It’s not a dramatic result but after a few sessions your under eyes look so much tighter and refreshed.
Hyaluronic Acid Filler – Hyaluronic acid fillers are a type of injectable dermal filler that is used to restore volume to the face and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. When HA fillers are injected into the skin, they work by replenishing the lost volume and stimulating the production of collagen, which is a protein that helps to maintain skin structure and elasticity. The HA filler attracts water to the area, which further helps to hydrate the skin and improve its overall appearance. I believe in conservative filler, meaning a small amount to enhance here and there, not to change the face. Currently, I have a little filler in the apples of my cheeks to help with some volume loss and it has helped a lot! I have a half a syringe in each cheek and it has helped my face look more youthful & helped with my under eye area.
www.arabellaboutiquemedspa.com – Chicago. Rhonda was my injector when I lived in Chicago and she is amazing! She is so knowledgable and will listen to your needs to make sure you look like the best version of you, not a different person.
www.stagesskinstudio.com – Nashville. Adrienne is my injector now that I live in Nashville and I love working with her! She is so conservative and will never push anything that you don’t feel comfortable with, and I really respect that has such great patient care.
