The saying, “Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe” might be the most accurate statement yet! Especially when it comes to choosing the perfect beauty team.
Often times, we find that many brides or anyone looking for a beauty team skip their research and choose a makeup artist or hair stylist that isn’t exactly their “vibe” and in turn they aren’t satisfied with how their final look comes out.
Researching the perfect beauty team should be as important as it is to research the right photographers. We all have a style and a preference. Let’s talk photography for instance. Are you more drawn to a light and airy type of photo style or does the edgy and moody look capture your attention more? You want to look for a photographer who fits your style and gives you all the heart eyes by captivating you so much that you can’t stop going back to their page for more.
Personalities play a huge role as well. Have you researched your dream makeup artist or hair stylist and find yourself wanting to become besties with them?! Or just loving how they go about their work? Once again your vibe attracts your tribe.

- Take advantage of hashtags. We recommend typing in the location of where you are located and placing key beauty words at the end of each hashtag. Example: #chicagobeauty #chicagomakeupartist #chicagobridal #chicagohairstylist. This will allow you to narrow down your search so you can then “save” and follow the beauty experts you love!
- Utilize Pinterest! Not sure what style you like yet? Leave it to Pinterest, babe! Search for “Bridal Makeup” or “Bridal Hair” or a specific look you have in mind such as “Sleek Low Bun”. You will then be able to save each look you like to reference the type of look you saved the most. This will show you what you are most drawn to and will help you when choosing the right beauty team!
